Musical translation by Darwin Prophet of  twelve of Oscar Wilde's poems. Originally conceived in 1881, these special transformations of word to sound were created by OW's formidible spirit and eloquence through the ears and voice of his time traveling companion Darwin. Included in this collection is the love for Helen in Paris' "Serenade", the ode to the great God  "Pan", the rolling waves of  "La Mer", the lilt of the sardonic "Chanson", the tender "To My Wife", a frisky romp "In the Forest", the tragic greek homage "The True Knowledge", walk in to the paint and pigment of "La Panneau", feel the moonlit reverie of "The Harlot's House",dance to a swirling "Canzonet", and rest in the peace and majesty of beloved sister Isola 's "Requiescat"

Sounds emerging from the Chronus Mirror include the sensuous and silly homage to Douglas Adams & Gene Rodennberry, title track "Don't Panic", jedi mind melder "Do or Die", time traveling secrets revealed in "The Mirror", the ELO inspired "Hello Cruel World" a happy little ditty bout life, the universe and everything, "Long as We Live" - the ONLY happy love song I believe has ever solidified in my brain, ok not totally happy, kinda pleading, but its an anthem, so it counts!  "Be all Right" - the acceptence of the changing face of love and "Medusa"  - the reflection of the stoney face of jealousy have evolved from their "Cosmic Radio" vibrations into focused polished transmissions, and "Harmony" which whisks you into the world of Planet Mi,along with introductions to Nemes, Themes and Schemes. Which of course, you will totally get once you have delved into the three chapters of "The History of Planet Mi" - and more visitations into the gray (and every other conceivable color) matter of my experience

In the early transmissions between the host, muse and alien, a personality dubbed wyrdgrl emerged from the chaos of a lost queendom, and the disolution of the mighty Hammer of the Goddess. Humbled and fumbling toward evolution, this incarnation was captured between the Berkshire Mountain snowbound solace and the healing power of Austin's tragic groove - a myriad of producers joined with Darwin's last face to paint these portraits of  "Spider" a song for Constance (Mrs Oscar Wilde), "Rope" in which the Klingon mantra "Its a good day for dying" is carnivalled in a theremin's wake, the bouncing keys contemplate the "Complicated" elements of falling in love, "Charming" is the brit-ish surreal pop fairy tale to scare girls to sleep at night, and the sparking well of wyrd stirs the hope of the cynic's salvation in "Soak in I"

To listen to what you've never heard, but always known. Inspired by the migrating monarchs who's descendents track instinctively the same branches to whom their ancestors were drawn, songwriters Rick Del Castillo and Darwin Prophet lit upon the emerald leaves of a Seattle breeze and created a place beyond, the images of birth in 'I Am Alive", the cloister of Hildegard Von Bingen's experience in "The Sound of Breathing", the Sybilline Mysteries initiation in "CIrcle", a love song from Aphrodite to Christ in "First Stone", the essence of immortality created by love in "Rainbow Bridge". The spirit of John Lennon helped to write "Love", "Awakening" recalls summer solstice at Standing Stones, and "Anthem" is a slice of majesty, a fitting finale in a journey of the mind well fed.
