This song is for the Ponds; Amy, Rory and Melody and a particular episode of Doctor Who where Amy gets stuck in a quarantine facility, and waits for 36 years to be rescued by Rory and the Doctor. Her older self has a very different opinion of her hero than her younger self, this is about having the time to look back on all that one has believed, and being ok with the bad as well as good.
