Afternoon Tea & Musicale with Ginger Doss

RSVP for address, Houston, TX

As the holiday season begins in earnest, we are taking this opportunity to reunite old friends for an afternoon tea and musicale.

From 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, a beautiful home in the Westchase District in Houston will be opening its doors to special friends.

We shall provide music, laughter, bottled water and green tea, and some festive nibbles. (Please bring your own beverage of choice.)
...
We shall have chairs, but if you have an outdoor- friendly seating device, it may behoove you to bring one you find comfortable.

Feel free to come as you are, or if you find yourself in the spirit of the season, as anything you wish to be. At least two of your hostesses will be donning the Halloween frivolity in all its glory! And especially to Darwin's steampunkers . . . bring your goggles and your navigator because we are gonna do our best to warp into yester-morrow with ebullience!

Ginger Doss - Aspiring Zen master puts words to music - Spiritual imagery with emotional tides that ebb and flow, from funky grooves to heart-wrenching ballads, a song Shaman with a piano-rock moxie. Ginger weaves her quest to understand and connect with the divine into dynamic song writing, exploring the range between driving rock and sweeping ballad, between tribal groove and inspiring anthem.

Darwin Prophet - Thematic traveler and aural exhibitionist opens the doors to a multiverse of legend, whether rocketing you to her home in the Galaxy Solfege & Planet Mi (as in "do-re-mi"), catapulting you to ancient Greece with Helen or Medusa, or painting sound with pre-raphaelite aesthetic interpretations of Oscar Wilde poems, Darwin will take you on a journey you shall never forget.

These two artists, late of the well-respected Velvet Hammer (the all- female prog-rock band) and same-year grads of Houston's High School for the Performing & Visual Arts, first met in the halls of Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart - wearing matching uniforms, yet destined to be utterly unique.

We are not gathering pre-order tickets, but we shall leave the skull jar in plain view and hope that a suggested donation to the artists and hostess of $10 will be acceptable to you.

Merchandise from both artists will be readily available.

Please RSVP by sending an email to Darwin at <darwinprophet@gmail.com>
or to Sarah Oates at <xlh883ridr@aol.com>; we shall then send you the physical address.
